Pond

Members of the Green Society have joined the Coastal Wetlands Stewardship volunteers, sponsored by U.N.O.'s Pontchartrain Institute, in an effort to restore Louisiana's coastal marshes.  They have constructed a small pond to raise marsh grasses until they are ready to be planted in the spring.  They hope everyone will enjoy watching them grow and learn to appreciate their role in the protection of coastal Louisiana.
