Born Yesterday
The BFHS Drama Club is proud to present: Garson Kanin's delightful romantic comedy, Born Yesterday. Set in post-WWII Washington DC, the story follows steel tycoon Harry Brock, who comes to DC to bend the will of congress to suit his financial needs. In tow is his blond-bombshell-ex-Broadway-chorus-member girlfriend, Billie Dawn, whose golden heart more than makes up for her lack of upper-class etiquette. But Brock doesn't see it that way, so to "smarten her up," he hires the young, idealistic writer, Paul Verall, to teach her the ways of high society. As Paul learns more about Billie and she learns more about the world, sparks begin to fly..... but not without consequences.
The dates for the show are: Thursday, Dec. 4th-Saturday, Dec. 6th at 7:00 PM and a 2:00 matinee on Sunday, Dec. 7th. Tickets are $3.00 for students and $5.00 for the public.
