Franklin Innsbruck Exchange Program
Ben Franklin High School students recently participated in a two week Exchange Program in Innsbruck Austria financed through the Austrian Marshall Plan. Students stayed in Innsbruck with host families during the exchange. They attended classes and participated in cultural presentations on New Orleans at the Innsbruck High School – BUNDESREALGYMNASIUM INNSBRUCK. Students were able to travel to Salzburg to visit Mozart’s home, Munich, went hiking in the Alps, participated in sports activities and got to see the Euro 2008 Soccer Championships while on the trip.
The participants were: Charles Bronstein, Kerry Burke, Dung Duong, Simone Greene, Shanora Hill, Nicholas Lynch, Shannon Macika, Uday Nandipati, ThaoTam Nguyen, Johnathan Pick, Fabienne Placide, Jill Tatarski, Diana Thomas, LeAn Tran, Stefan Wojkowski and Faculty Chaperone John Parauka.
