BFHS Tech Team HonoredThe Benjamin Franklin Tech Team: Grant Bourque, Alex Clay, and Evan Rusca, were honored on Saturday, May 8, 2010 as part of a district wide initiative to assist students and staff at their local schools with the use of technology. The students were given t-shirts with the logo "S.W.A.T." which stands for Students Willing to Assist with Technology. Grant Bourque won a Dell mini notebook for completing and passing the most certification courses and was asked to address the elementary students about his experience. Thanks to these 3 students for their tireless effort to help keep our technology in good working order and assist whenever called upon. Thanks, also, to Peggy Abadie, Executuve Director of NOPS IT Dept. who had the vision to start this program and Don Scherer, the NOPS network administrator, who met with the students on a weekly basis to help them learn about the complexities of a network.
