AP Environmental Science Students and Green Society Team Up for Earth Day Tree PlantingThe AP Environmental Science and Green Society students participated in an Earth Day Tree Planting, sponsored by the UNO Society for Earth and Environmental Sciences. They planted a grove of citrus and hardwood trees on the far side of the student parking lot, near the Microbiology and Engineering buildings. The sponsors created a very nice plaque dedicated to the UNO Society for Earth and Environmental Sciences and the students of Ben Franklin High School! If you have a chance, go take a walk through the grove!
