CoSN National Conference Attendees Visit BFHSThe Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) held its annual conference at the Hilton Riverside Hotel, March 14-16, 2011. Two exemplary charter schools in the New Orleans area, Benjamin Franklin High School and Warren Easton High School, were selected for a site visit for participants to learn about the technology available. The group was composed of technology leaders from places such as Australia, Netherlands, Canada, Washington, D.C., Connecticut, to name just a few. The CEO/Principal, Dr. Timothy Rusnak, welcomed the group and gave a brief history of the school. The Director of Technology Services, Ms. Colleen Fiegel, then showed a PowerPoint presentation titled "Benjamin Franklin High School- A Connected Community". Participants learned about the technology available , participated in a question and answer session, and then toured the building with student tour guides.
