Green Society Sponsors Car WashGreen Society is sponsoring a car wash Saturday, November 13th, from 8-12 in front of the school (Leon C. Simon entrance). The cost will be $5.00. All proceeds will benefit the Gaux Gulf Savers Team to repair our wetlands damaged by the BP oil spill. Please come get your car washed and help restore our coast at the same time. It's a win, win. Recycling reminder : Green Society would like to remind everyone that we are providing on campus recycling of aluminum and plastic containers in the courtyard. Unfortunately, we do not have the people power to provide this service for all of our Franklin families. We would like to encourage all families to make use of the new citywide recycling drop off site conveniently located at 2829 Elysian Fields. They are open every Saturday from 8 AM - 1 PM. |
