Franklin Swim Team Competes in Metro Meet and Heads to State!
Franklin swimmers competed against the top swimmers in the metro area on Nov. 6+7. Though the team is small in number, several swimmers had outstanding finishes including: the Girls 200 Medley Relay, Ben Marks in the 100 Butterfly and Sophie Wojkowski in the 100 Breaststroke. The Metro Meet was the last meet before the State Meet in Sulphur, Louisiana November 18-20. Franklin has 12 swimmers who have qualified for State. The swim team has the most State qualifiers this year since Katrina. |
