Thank You to DonorsChooseA huge thank you to donorschoose.org for their generous donation of a cello to Mr. Lacoste's orchestra. Student Q. Kendrick was happy to be chosen to play it this year and until she graduates from Ben Franklin. Marriott matched the gifts of individual donors.
Donorschoose.org also gave Ben Franklin Jazz Ensemble a trumpet. The matching gift partner was the Music Empowers Foundation. We have posted another request for the Jazz Ensemble titled "A Bass Amplifier To Be Heard". A bass amplifier and 5 viola bows have been requested. Parents, feel free to participate. The total cost of the project was $864.73. We have $382.37 to go! Remember, there is no such thing as a small donation. |
