Sixty six teachers from across the US including BFHS Teachers attended these full day AP teacher training workshops.

These AP workshops are offered around the country to improve the teaching and learning in AP Advanced Placement courses. The five Ben Franklin teachers who attended these workshops were present as new AP teachers, future AP teachers or current AP teachers looking to enhance their teaching strategies. The Franklin teachers will share their new learning with the other BFHS faculty at follow-up department level faculty meetings.
Benjamin Franklin High School offers twenty one AP Advanced Placement courses each year. Over 750 AP exams are taken each spring by Franklin students. 71% of the students enrolled in an AP course at Franklin took the corresponding AP exam in May 2012
