Benjamin Franklin High School
Athletic Association
The Ben Franklin Athletic Association (BFAA) is the “Booster Club” for Franklin athletics. As a 501(c)(3) organization, BFAA provides support for our school's athletic and sports programs. Many of the sports program expenses exceed the resources provided by the school's budget, particularly capital expenditures. Some examples of the types of expenditures provided by BFAA include equipment, uniforms, facility support, out-of-town travel expenses and team recognition (e.g. banners).
The Ben Franklin Athletic Association holds regular meetings, announced via the school's weekly email "blasts". Meetings are generally held in the Health Room (Gym). All members and those interested in membership are encouraged to come and join the team to support our Falcon athletes. Parent liaisons of each team are especially urged to attend.
Some of the programs sponsored by BFAA include:
- Franklin Homecoming Program, Fall
- Athletic Banquet, Spring
- Falcon Feast
-January 28, 2012 - 7-10pm
Where: English Turn - Home of Joan & Gary Kessel

New Orleans, Louisiana 70131- A "parents only" event to be held at the gorgeous English Turn home of Gary & Joan Kessel. We will have food, beer, wine, live music and an auction. Each of these programs require planning and
coordination. Parent and coach involvement is critical to our
success. Consider how you can help support the sports programs
